Hockey

  • Where do I train

           There are several training sessions available, depending on your age and ability. Please click here for details of each session

  • How do I know if i've been selected for a team

           All members picked to play will be notified via email at least 2 days prior to the game. This email will be issued directly from the    club website and will be sent to the email address on your membership record on the website (It is each member's responsibility to ensure your contact details are up to date)

When you receive this email you should click on the appropriate link to indicate whether you are available to play

  • How can I find out if my game or training has been called off?

All cancellations will be posted in the first instance on the website. You can also contact your captain or coach to check the status of your game or training session

  • Do I get paid travel expenses for travelling to a match

Any member who uses their own transport to travel to a game and takes at least 3 players is entitled to be paid travel expenses at the current agreed rate per mile. All drivers to a game along with the total return mileage should be recorded on the match fee sheet which will allow the Finance Team to pay out the appropriate expenses once they have received all the match fees from that game, (Travel Expenses are not paid out to drivers from match fees on the day)

There is a slightly different system for 1st team players and you should speak to a member of the management team if you need further information on this

Junior Hockey

  • When is training, How much do I cost?

Please click here for details of each session. Training is free to all members between September and March each year. At all other times a training fee is payable and will be advised before 1st April each year

  • How do I find out about games and tournaments

All games and tournaments are listed on the website. If you need further information please contact the appropriate age group manager. These are listed here

  • `What Kit do I need?

We recommend that all juniors have a stick, shin pads and gum shield.

If you are representing the club in a competitive game, the required kit is Navy blue Shorts or Skort, Navy & Sky socks and White Socks

 

  • How do I become a member?

Kit

  • What kit do I need?

Membership and Match Fees

  • How do I become a member?

  • When is the annual membership fee due?

Annual membership falls due on 1st September each year and is payable by 31st October

  • How can I pay my subscription?

Every member will receive an email with the details of ways to pay and the links to do this. The club prefers payment by Direct Debit, Paypal and Bank Transfer

  • Do I need a paypal account to pay my subscription

No, you do not need a paypal account. Payments by paypal are made via the club's paypal account allowing members to use their credit or debit card to pay their subscription

  • How can I find out if I can help within the club ?

  • Can I help within the club even if I never played hockey?

Yes, absolutely. We welcome volunteers with all types of experience. Those people who have not played hockey can bring other skills and knowledge which are always welcome
